ZRA FAILS TO ACHIEVE 2020 REVENUE TARGET BY 1.3 BILLION, COLLECTS 57.7 BILLION AGAINST TARGET OF 59 BILLION
The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has failed to achieve its 2020 revenue target pegged at K59 billion for the financial year 2020.
ZRA collected K57.7 billion against an approved target of K59 billion.
ZRA Commissioner General Kingsley Chanda says the authority under collected by K1.3 billion.
Mr. Chanda has set K59.3 billion as revenue target for the year 2021.
He adds that it will be difficult for the authority to achieve its 2021 set target due to the adverse impact of COVID-19 on the economy.
