Mwila ate our K200,000, cries Miles Sampa

While Davies Mwila says Miles Sampa is ineligible to contest the PF presidency on grounds that he hadn’t been a member of the opposition party for five continuous years, the Matero MP says the latter should have his grade 12 results “of six points” investigated if he cannot do a “simple arithmetic.”
In an interview with the Mast, Sampa said Mwila was then a “powerful” secretary general and welcomed him back into PF in 2017.
He argued that it has been now six years since his return to the party.
“So I have been back in PF more than last five years continuously and I do qualify on that particular article enshrined in the PF constitution to stand as President,” he said.
Sampa charged that Mwila’s outburst of wanting to first change the PF constitution before a convention is absurd.
“Why did he first receive our k200, 000 and then bring in the issue of constitution amendments after? He was SG for last 6 years and why did he not change the constitution then if it had lacunas?”
Meanwhile, the Matero lawmaker accused Mwila of “eating” the K200,000s contenders paid as nomination fees for the party presidency.
“The truth is that Mwila has eaten our k200,000 and is using all excuses to postpone the convention. I will report him to the Police if the PF grassroots vote for me as their next president. Enough of Mwila abusing party funds since and after he was SG at the expense of suffering owners of the party in the structures,” he said.
“Davies Mwila has seen that his and others plans to disqualify me from standing as PF president using the 6 weeks’ suspension has hit a snag and he is now digging up other lies and one wonders in what capacity he is doing that. He needs to wake up and smell the coffee that he is no longer the PF SG and he needs to also realize he was one of the major reasons why PF lost as he was the violence warlord with his akawawasa violent cadres he sponsored. He also forced candidates on certain winnable constituencies. He should burry his head in the sand of shame and stop hallucinating about me.”
